Through the events of COVID, it has been clear that education centers are not fully prepared for the scourge of such a disease to take out the world as it did. Many sought alternatives like Zoom and Google Classroom, however, both have numerous issues that arise when overstressed by the mass flood of new users. While these offered quick solutions to problems that would have never been thought to exist, they are subpar at best. A better solution to the problem is to look into the tools that video game fans and creators have made and use them instead. Through the use of services such as Discord and Curse, better control of digital classroom settings could have been done and allowed for more controls on the part of teachers, while paying next to nothing for various things. The base options of Discord alone could be used as a better tool to teach due to the strength of servers and the ability to screen share and record without additional packages. While these good things could come from it, there's also the possibility of negative things such as connection on a wide scale. These types of issues are present everywhere, however. That being said, what do you feel would have been a better way to have classrooms digitally?
